AASV Technical Tables Exhibit

February 26-27, 2024
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center
Nashville, Tennessee

The 2024 Tech Tables exhibit is sold out.

The "Tech Tables" technical service promotion at the American Association of Swine Veterinarians Annual Meeting offers a premier opportunity for commercial technical representatives to exchange information and interact with swine veterinarians from around the world.

The 2024 AASV Annual Meeting will be held February 24-27 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, with the exhibit taking place on Monday and Tuesday, February 26 and 27. We expect approximately 1000 participants, including more than 600 swine veterinarians and 100+ veterinary students. In the past, 20-25% of attendees have been from outside the United States, with registrants from as many as 30 countries. The primary function of the meeting is to provide continuing education to swine veterinarians.

Non-veterinary attendance is limited to AASV Affiliate Members, veterinary students, invited speakers, and up to six Technical Table representatives per table, as described below.

Exhibitors typically include pharmaceutical and biological companies, equipment manufacturers, genetics and seedstock suppliers, nutritional and feed ingredient companies, technology systems providers, and industry publications. See the exhibitor roster.

The 2024 Technical Tables exhibit will take place according to the following schedule:AASV Tech Tables exhibit showing tables, exhibit representatives, and attendees.

    • Tuesday, February 27: 8:00 am - 12:00 noon

DESCRIPTION
Each participating company is provided with a 6-foot draped table from which to distribute information and visit with the meeting attendees. As in the past, material presented on the table is limited to scientific, educational information that will best inform swine veterinarians about each company's products and services. Exhibitors are welcome to use their own table drape. Overhead or vertical banners, booth and tabletop displays, and large monitors are not permitted, nor is selling of product. Items on the table should be no more than 18" high. This modest approach to the commercial trade show provides a level playing field for all participants and allows the event to concentrate on education, information, and networking with attendees, in keeping with the nature of the meeting.

EXHIBIT REGISTRATION

The Tech Table registration fee of $3000 per table includes the draped table and chairs, plus conference registration for up to 3 company representatives named on the application. Exhibiting companies will be listed and linked on the AASV Annual Meeting website, and are invited to supply a company logo and description for the mobile conference app.

LODGING
AASV has a room block at the Gaylord Opryland Resort; see here for details. Don't fall prey to the scam artists who call or email your company with an urgent offer to book rooms for the meeting. The AASV does NOT utilize 3rd party booking services.

TABLE ASSIGNMENTS
Preferential table sites are assigned to AASV e-Letter sponsors and members of the 2024 JSHAP Industry Support Council. A drawing is conducted to assign the remaining tables on an equitable basis.

REPRESENTATIVE REGISTRATIONS
The 3 Tech Table registrants listed on the exhibit registration form are welcome to attend any of the scientific sessions beginning Sunday noon through Tuesday, and receive tickets for Monday's luncheon and evening awards reception and Tuesday's breakfast. Technical Table representatives may register for the pre-conference seminars on Saturday and Sunday by paying the seminar registration fee(s).

In addition to the three representatives included on the exhibit application, up to three more representatives may also register for the meeting as "Additional Tech Table Representatives" at the nonmember/exhibitor rate ($875 each). These registrations must be submitted individually here. Any additional representatives beyond these six total are eligible to register ONLY if they meet the usual attendance criteria (i.e., must be a veterinarian, veterinary student, AASV Affiliate Member, or invited speaker).

Need to change a representative? Contact aasv@aasv.org.

The name badges and meal tickets for your representatives will be available for pickup (under their individual names) at the AASV registration desk in the conference hotel.
